You might think setting up a carnival inside is hard, but it’s actually pretty easy. You don’t need a lot of room to make it fun. These indoor carnival game ideas are simple, budget-friendly, and perfect for any space.

Ring Toss

Why it’s fun: It’s a classic game that’s easy to play and great for all ages. Use empty soda bottles and glow-in-the-dark rings to make it even more exciting.

How to set it up: Arrange the bottles in rows and give each one a point value. Kids can toss the rings and try to win by getting the most points.

Duck Pond

How to play: Fill a plastic tub with water and float rubber ducks on top. Write numbers on the bottom of each duck that match up with prizes.

Why kids love it: It’s super simple and everyone wins a prize, which makes it great for younger kids.

Stack Attack (Cup Knockdown)

What you need: Plastic cups and bean bags.

How to play: Stack the cups into a pyramid. Each player gets three bean bags to try and knock them down.

Extra fun tip: Use different colors of cups and give them different point values for a fun twist.

Balloon Pop Board

What you need: Balloons, a board, and tape or thumbtacks. You can put little notes or candy inside the balloons before blowing them up.

Why it’s exciting: Kids love popping balloons and finding a surprise inside.

Safety tip: Instead of sharp darts, let kids throw bean bags or use soft sticks to pop the balloons.

Spin-the-Wheel Challenge

How to play: Make a spinning wheel at home with fun challenges written on each section.

Example ideas for the wheel:

• Do a hula hoop for 10 seconds
• Sing a cartoon theme song

Why it works: Each spin is different, so kids stay excited and want to keep playing.
