6 Great Ideas for Your Thanksgiving Parties

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to slow down, gather with the people you love, and enjoy a full day of food and fun. If you’re hosting in Las Vegas this year, Kangaroo Bounce Party can help you turn a simple family get-together into an unforgettable Thanksgiving celebration — without adding stress to your to-do list.

Here are 6 great ideas for your Thanksgiving parties using bounce houses, party rentals, and more from Kangaroo Bounce Party.

1. Keep the Kids Happy with Themed Bounce Houses

While the turkey’s in the oven, keep the kids busy (and burning off energy) in a themed bounce house. Kangaroo Bounce Party offers tons of exciting designs like Paw Patrol, Avengers, Minecraft, Minnie Mouse, Cars, dinosaurs, and more, so you can match your inflatable to your family’s favorite characters or party theme.

Kids will spend hours jumping, laughing, and making memories — and you get a little peace and quiet to focus on cooking, decorating, or just relaxing. Plus, all bounce houses are cleaned, maintained, and insured, so you can celebrate with confidence.

2. Turn Thanksgiving into a Friendly Family Competition

Thanksgiving is already about football, games, and friendly rivalry — so why not make it bigger with obstacle courses and interactive inflatables?

Kangaroo Bounce Party offers:

• Standard and mega-sized obstacle courses (up to 155 ft!)
• Joust inflatable for hilarious gladiator-style battles
• Basketball toss games and more interactables

Set up family challenges: kids vs. adults, cousins vs. cousins, or “team turkey” vs. “team pumpkin pie.” These inflatables aren’t just for kids — the whole family can join in and create epic Thanksgiving memories.

3. Make It a Warm Weather Thanksgiving with Water Slides

Only in Las Vegas can you realistically say, “Let’s add a water slide to Thanksgiving!”

If the weather cooperates, surprise your guests with a water slide or water combo unit.

Kangaroo Bounce Party has:

• Tall, thrilling slides like the Tropical, BlueWaves, and Lava series
• Water slide combos that include both bounce areas and slides
• Fun options like slip ’n slides for non-stop races

Kids will go from “When is dinner ready?” to “Can we do one more slide?” — which gives you time to perfect that gravy.

4. Skip the Scramble for Tables & Chairs

If you’ve ever begged neighbors and family for extra chairs, you know how stressful it can be. This year, skip the hassle by booking one of Kangaroo Bounce Party’s money-saving party packages.

Their specials combine:

• A standard or combo bounce house
• Tables and chairs for your guests
• Optional concession machines in certain packages

For example, Special #1 includes any standard bounce house plus 2 tables and 6 chairs — perfect for smaller Thanksgiving gatherings. Larger packages add more chairs and even a concession machine for sweet treats.

That means no more driving all over town borrowing extra seating. Everything arrives together, is set up for you, and picked up when the party’s done.

5. Serve Fun Festival-Style Snacks All Day

Thanksgiving is all about food — but it doesn’t have to be only turkey and stuffing. Add a little carnival magic to your party with concession machines the whole family will love.

Kangaroo Bounce Party offers:

• Popcorn machines
• Cotton candy machines
• Snow cone machines with tasty flavors.

Set up a “Snack Station” where guests can grab popcorn during the big game, cotton candy after dinner, or snow cones between bounce sessions. It’s an easy way to keep both kids and adults smiling all day long.

6. Host a Thanksgiving Party at a Local Park

If your home doesn’t have a big backyard — or you’re inviting a large crowd — consider hosting your Thanksgiving celebration at a Las Vegas park. Many families rent a park space and bring in:

• A bounce house or combo unit
• Obstacle courses or interactive games
• Tables, chairs, and concessions for easy setup

Kangaroo Bounce Party even provides guidance on how to reserve your event date and coordinate with local parks and recreation departments so your inflatable rentals are approved and ready to go.

It’s a fantastic way to enjoy fresh air, big open spaces, and plenty of room for kids to run and play before (and after) the big meal.
